Reporting To Work

I got a new job as a secretary.  Oops! ... Executive assistant.  I hope my boss likes me!

What do you think of this outfit?  I really like it -- and the whole thing cost only $12, including shoes.  Everything came from a thrift-store (Savers).

  2. Fantastic high waist on the skirt it is very flattering, and the length is perfect. Blouse is subdued but professional. This is a win, any EA would be happy to look so good.

    1. Always! Because they are normally hidden, my toes are painted every day of my life. I try new colors every 2-3 weeks. I really like this orange.

    1. I love my pouf pen for both its color and its poufiness. (If that ain't a word, it should be.)

  7. A pencil skirt is such a wonderful classic yet super sexy look. Except the pencil...ha ha! That kinda kills the sexy vibe! ; )

  8. This is a perfect exec assistant look! I must admit, I don't dress like a typical admin even though I am one - but I'd totally rock this look. I think my favorite part is the blouse, the subtle design is really fun!

  13. I remember you talking about wanting to achieve this kind of look...you've done marvelously! the skirt fits you to a tee & the top is a perfect compliment! There is some debate however in the world of fashion as to whether or not stockings/pantyhose should ever be worn with open toed shoes, even if they are the sandal toe kind...something to keep in mind ;-)

    1. I'm aware of that debate and I know most gals choose to go without, but for me pantyhose have magical properties. I wear them because I love them. It's okay if others disagree.

Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it.

    2. I really like the outfit. It is one of my favorite looks...black pencil skirt with a white professional blouse. I think both are good finds, especially the blouse which does seem long enough for your arms.
Being a CD I have a special affinity for pantyhose and love the look of painted toes through sheer toe hose. Years ago, before the pantyhose purge, all women wore pantyhose with sandals. Even today woman of our age, my wife and many of our friends, when the dress, they will wear pantyhose with sandals. One of my favorite looks are painted toe nails under shear toe pantyhose peeking out of a pair of peep toe pumps.
