Date Night

I'm playing with ideas for a night of romance.  A flirty ensemble suited for candlelit dinners and long walks down a scenic river.  An outfit one might wear while holding hands and waiting for a kiss.

This is what I came up with.  Any opinions?

  5. The gloves are cool and look kind of '60s-ish with the strapless dress. You do have great legs, but I wonder if the dress isn't a little bit too short. It looks like you're waiting for more than a kiss! You could add a tulle petticoat peaking out from the bottom to give it more length.

    1. All dresses designed for normal-sized women are short on me. Nothing I can do about that. Your idea of adding a petticoat beneath it is smart.

  6. Heh... "looks like you're waiting for more than a kiss"... but for a really romantic just kissing, let's-keep-it-above-the-shoulders type night, you should always leave your neck bare, both for a little nibbling, and a dab of an intoxicating scent.

  8. I agree with Val. A short low volume flirty petticoat would be great to add length to the dress so you can show off your smooth bare legs but keep a little modesty. I would also go for pink heels that match the gloves and a bold low hanging necklace that perhaps matches the bracelets instead of the scarf. ;)

  15. Um, honey, I don't think you will make it past the front door or to the meal if your date sees you in that sexy ensemble. Hope the living room floor is comfy ;P

Is it hot in here or what?

  16. I agree with the previous comments about adding a petticoat. I often did that because I am tall and shorter skirts and dresses were often too short for my liking .. says she who used to wear skirts barely covering her bum!

  17. You look good in pink and you have very nice legs!!! I agree with Cara about the neck and I would add a shawl. Necks are for nibbling! (Hickey's are awesome!)
